How We Brought the Vision to Life
Don May Construction has been building in Qualicum Beach, Parksville and the Oceanside area since 1973. Founded by Don May and now led by his grandson, Red Seal carpenter Derek Heinz, the family-run company takes on custom homes, commercial construction, project management, development services and demolition.
We designed and built their new website from the ground up in Webflow and wrote the copy for every page, keeping the tone honest and plain-spoken, the same way they deal with their clients. We also photographed and filmed their crews and jobsites, so the site shows real people and real work instead of stock imagery.
The result is a website that carries more than fifty years of local reputation online and gives homeowners and developers a clear picture of who they would be building with.

A deep navy, warm gold and clean white palette is drawn from their logo and paired with confident typography and photography from their own jobsites. Colour, spacing and content structure stay consistent across every page, so the site feels established without feeling dated.
